For more than 60 years we have been producing abrasive tools of the highest quality. We manufacture custom precision grinding wheels from aluminum oxide (corundum) and silicon carbide in vitrified bond and resin bond. Each grinding wheel is individually tailored to your process requirements. We optimize your grinding process by using the right grinding wheel and we are always on the lookout for cost-benefit optimization.
FIND THE RIGHT GRINDING WHEEL FOR YOUR APPLICATION
Our technical specialists determine the composition of each wheel based on your individual application.
In addition to the dimensions of your grinding wheel, the grinding method used, the type and hardness of the material to be ground, and other influencing factors play an important role in determining the correct specification. Tolerance, feed rate, inlet or surface size to be polished are important parameters in grinding, as are wheel speed and part speed, coolant type or finishing process.
Together with you, we determine the correct grinding wheel specification for your application. Taking technical requirements and economic efficiency into account, we will optimize your grinding process together by using the right grinding wheel.
WHY EVERY GRINDING JOB REQUIRES A SPECIAL GRINDING WHEEL
Every polishing task is different. Different grinding processes, such as surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, or gear grinding, have different contact areas between the grinding wheel and the workpiece. Wheel speed and feed rates vary, as does the hardness of the material being ground. These and other parameters require that the wheel be tailored to your individual application.
Selection of the proper abrasive grain, grain size, hardness, structure and bond of the wheel ensures an optimal polishing result. Below, we offer a brief description of our grinding wheels, arranged throughout the different grinding processes. Whether plane grinding or surface grinding, profile grinding, cylindrical grinding (external cylindrical grinding, internal cylindrical grinding and centerless grinding), gear grinding or tool grinding, you will get the right grinding wheel from us.
Below you will find more information about the different grinding wheels depending on their type of grinding:
